I can take you for a ride and show you the same thing. But watching wont make you able to do it. The term heel and toe might have been accurate 40 years ago, but now the pedals are close enough you roll your foot like his video. Alot of times in a street car where the pedals arent typically at matching levels, wider tennis shoes will help you reach the gas with the outside of your foot. With a real transmission and brakes, you use your left foot for the brake which im more comfortable with. This is also why some of the old school IRL guys like helio are getting their ass kicked on roadcourses. Helio is a right foot braker, which justs wastes time.

OOOOhhhhhhh, I'm in. Let's do a GTG. I know absolutely dick about F1 cars and their drivers, though, except that they're fucking fast.

Lots of F1 interest up in hurra!

If you guys make it out to any F1 races, you should swing by and talk to my buddy, Kevin Paige. He is a huge fan of F1, and makes a lot of the races and does painting on site. Some of his work can be seen here: www.kevinpaigeart.com

Kevin was my roommate in college, and got me into F1. We went to some of the races in Indy before F1 quit racing there - there is no other racing like it.

I've went to watch F1 there at the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve when I used to work in New Hampshire. It was a great time. Good nightlife with all the partying and of course watching the cars was amazing. Don't forget your ear plugs!

Hell no! I stay up/get up for just about every race and I'll be buying a ticket for next summer's race in Austin the instant they go on sale.

It's amazing how a true driver can get into any car, even one he's never driven before, and still find that fine line between power and control, and stepping over the line and putting yourself in mortal danger.
