I like the looks and the interior, but I wouldn't own one. Too hard to maintain, expensive as hell, and dogshit for gas mileage. I mean come on, my fucking I6 F150 gets 17MPG. That being said, I almost cried when I saw an 04 6 speed go through auction for $4K.

yes, but it really has to do with the high RPM power band... the gear ratios in the transmission are shorter than his mustang. They only have a .79 6th gear. single overdrive... 5th gear is 1:1

so whereas his T45 overdrive ratio is a .67 x 4.56 giving him a 3.05:1 top gear ratio, the RX8 would be 3.50 for the 4.44 rear and 3.76 for the 4.77 rear
