I'm looking for the professional quality synthetic chamois like used in shops. I have one that is about 20" X 36" that I've been using for 13 years....so I need a new one.
Car Care for the Perfectionist! Polishes, waxes, cleaners, polishers, foaming systems, detailing supplies, and accessories. We make it, we guarantee it!
Personally, I really don't care for chamois. Most scratches and swirls are caused from dirt that gets caught in between the towel and the paint surface. Chamois don't leave anywhere for that dirt to go, and is dragged across the paint surface. I prefer to use Microfiber products, more specific, the Waffle Weave drying towels. They give the dirt a place to go(inside the towel), giving you a better chance to NOT scratch your vehicles surface.
The main ones I use are from Autodetailingsolutions.net They are called the California Drying Towel.
