Best way to clean seats?

Seats in my mustang are a little less then fresh.

What is the best method for cleaning seats? The best chemical/process?

Very vague question.

Leather? Cloth? If cloth, Do you have any type of machine to do the cleaning/rinsing for you?

Sounds crazy, but one a few foxes I've bought in the past, I've pulled the seats out and taken them to the spray car wash and worked them over with the power sprayer. The key is letting them sit out in the sun until they are completely dry otherwise you'll get a mildew smell. It definitely cleans them up though!
