  • Removing decal glue from paint

I removed some decals on my bike using a hair dryer, but it left some glue behind.

What should I use to remove the glue from paint.

    Thanks!

Dont leave it on there for a long period of time and you should be fine. The glue should wipe right off though. Just put some thinner on a rag and wipe off the glue dont pour the thinner on the bike

              Either of these should work!

And if the stickers have been on there for a while, you may have some paint fading. Pick up a bottle of some decent cleaner wax, and that should clean everything up. Give me a call if you have any problems or questions.

I tried WD-40 on a rag, then wiping over the glue, but it didn't come off. It's a very thin layer of glue.

The decals have only been on there for like 4 days, I figured it would come off easier!!

Let the WD-40 sit and soak in for a minute. It will work just fine.

"goo gone" work pretty good. You can pick it up at your local parts store.

I picked up some goo gone, but can't mess with the bike till I get off work Pick up a couple little bottles and some cloth towels.

Yea, I ordered some black ones, but so far i'm just going to put some Suzuki decals on the very bottom of the fairings, like dville_gt had on his bike in other threads.

I might add on from there, not sure yet, though I did order a whole set.

These are the ones I ordered. http://www.alloutgraphics.com/image_gsxr4.htm
