There are no clutch hand controls on a snowmobile. It's like a jetski, except there is a brake.

Snowmobiles have hand warmers and covers.

Clip style masterlinks are a bad idea, Mkay? And if you must use them, at least put it on in the proper direction.

I've never had a problem with a clip master link until this instance, and it was on in the right direction....open end towards the rear.

Damn. even if I could've rode the bike monday, I don't think I would've. I've decided that if it gets down in the lower 30's I'm not riding.
Got hit in the side of the head at a bar over the weekend, and so it hurt to wear a helmet. Finally rode again last night and then today, and it still hurt to put a helmet on.

And with my luck, last night I parked on the bike and walked to my car to get something (which was parked next to a curb with a storm drain), and while standing there I dropped my left glove straight down the damn drain. I can't ride without gloves, ever. So today I had to ride out to Cycle Gear and spend money on gloves when I should be spending that money on Christmas stuff. Plus they didn't really have anything I liked.

I use to ride every day...30 miles each way. Until it was 29 deg one morning, and some jackass left the sprinklers on. Ice, a cruiser, @ 55 is a bad mix. So I decided I would not ride below 32 deg. That worked out great till I realized in the country (sort of 1171 near 35W), in the valleys (Where the jack ass left the sprinklers on) it's 5 to 9 degrees colder in the valleys and ice still forms in the valleys when the jackasses leave the sprinklers on. So I quit riding below 40 deg. Then I just got lazy in the cold, not wanting to get up 10 min. earlier to suit up for the ride. Now I hardly ever ride.

Now that it is a little " colder " , who is still riding daily? I am .... but I forgot my non vented gloves this morning. I must admit my hands were quite chilly at 6:45 this morning.

You are right, its not to cold, but is it ever "to cold" in Texas? LOL Seems a lot of people (not just on this forum) dont like to ride when its below 50. It really isnt bad if your geared right. Once it hits below 40 degrees, thats when I break out my winter gear.
