I'd say they all do the same thing. sportsman has been solid for years.

i've been looking at them but i think they have solid axles in the back. which limits the clearance

I have a non-eps grizzly 700. I have had zero problems with it. You are more than welcome to test ride it.

They all are great. They all will give you problems if not properly maintained. DO NOT BUY BRAND NEW.

Look at the Polaris Sportsman. I have 2 of them and they are rock solid. As with anything mechanical they will give you problems if its not maintained properly.

I love the Renegades and one of them will probably be my wifes next ATV unless Kawa makes something different that is similar. I am a two wheeled guy myself but its it fun riding her KFX700. No mud though unless you got a winch and plenty of buddies. Even the 500 Renegade looks like plenty of four wheeler.

I just sold my 07' 700 grizz. That is one bad atv. I would not hesitate for a second to buy another. Factory IRS, FI, Push button 4x4, push button axle lockers. its the best atv for the price. Yes the canam stuff is probly better but they are way overpriced for just a little more power.

yea, i'm not gonna be riding enough to get a can am or a new one. I'm kinda hooked on the grizzly now that i've got more info on them. goin to look at a 07 660 grizzly with 5 1/2" lift this weekend.
Are there any known problems that people are encountering with them?

I'm not 100% sure but I think the 660 is not fuel injected.
