Must have been a drivers race then. e92 m3 does 0-60 .2 seconds faster than the same year 5.0 (4.1 - 4.3 on motortrend) . The m3 also traps similar speeds, around 117-120mph range. There are a lot of variables, but looking at the numbers, it would be a drivers race stock-ish vs stock-ish.

Yesir, there was an e92 sedan. Me thinks he mistook an e46 for a "newer" m3, that would be more believable.

Damn man I was there too Was coming home from work. I saw The two cars in the bike. Then the two firetrucks blocking off the right lanes. Cops were picking up what looked like an inner fender off the G 35. Saw the bike in the left side ditch I didn't see the bike rider. Then like a mile or two up the road I saw second wreck involving a black charger this time in the left lane. Crazy motherfuckers.

It was probably an e46 with an s54 (inline 6) then. Because Rodney's is an e92, so the only m3 close would have the s65 and be a tough competitor.
