Uhhhh, I lived/worked there for 23 yrs. They wrote tickets like there were getting quotas for bonuses. They have pulled me over for window tint, NFP, speeding, not speeding, accused of robbing a bank in my Cobra. 5 mph over, 5 mph, under, fitting the description of a home invasion/robbery. Accused of DWI (not drunk or even drinking). So fuck them and fuck you for questioning me. I don't drive through Plano unless I have to. Never been pulled over or harrassed by/in ANY other city other than Plano, with the exception of Cockrell Hill PD

i've only lived in the area for 7 years, and in that time, I was pulled over twice: Once for speeding (and I was), and once for expired registrtion (it was). I was let go with a warning for pretty much racing a bmw 135i one time down 15th street when 3 tahoes pulled us over.

I really don't understand how people end up having bad/mutliple encounters with cops. Mine were all peaceful and over quickly, even though I was guilty as fuck.

Common sense and politeness go a long way when guilty toward smoothing over encounters with police.

I didn't say they have ever took me to jail or the encounters ever escalated beyond being curt...

Admittedly I have found that Arlington police lack a sense of humor.

Richardson PD is by far the worst.

Never had a problem with them and I've lived in Richardson for 20+ years.

Are there not motorcycle cops down there? Here a bike guy has to be a good rider or have a fairly fast bike. They also typically have a 10mph+ threshold for trying a stop so you have to be moving. Laser is also hard to get on a bike with lots of plastic if clean.

Everything you've had happen to you, I've had happen to me here in the small(er) town of cleburne. All of it. I was walking down a residential road when I was 16, and a cop stopped me and asked me where I had been 20 minutes ago. Said I "fit the description" of some guy who just stole a BMW. The idiot was driving around with his trunk open, I pointed it out, and he asked me to shut it for him. Derp. If I'd just stolen a car, would it be a great idea to sit in your car and allow me easy access to where you hang the shotgun?

Pulled over for going under speed limit, going over, tail light out that wasn't out, license plate light that wasn't out. HEADLIGHT that wasn't out. He saw it "flicker". Somehow I didn't. You name it. Sounds a lot like your story.

Not going to happen. Only reason I've never ran is from my dumb luck I'd end up kill't.

yes i was looking out for cops, so he must have seen me speeding from a far.
I know he didn't rader or laser me.
I got a warning though so no worries here.
I promise you they are prepared to catch you!
Was that on Springcreek at Preston by chance?

If you think that their PD is bad you should see how they run their court.

Last Thursday night (I believe, may have been Monday) I saw a Helo riding the GBT from West to East, all the way down to I-30. I was coming from Dallas and saw it when I was rolling through Richardson. He was pretty high up and I'm sure was using Flir, it could have been a Dallas Helo, but I'm not sure the DPS has one in this area, but you never know...
