hoppe batwing fairing and HD windshield

I have one on my RK. Curious if your able to install a HD shield on the fairing instead of a Hoppe one. HD will be easier and cheaper to find used. (Hoppe fairing has a 5 hole install where HD is 3. I get that. I am just wondering if Tue dimensions are the same. I'll drill the two extra holes.)

My current shield is like 13" or so tall. I want to go smaller and tinted.

I had the ebay copy (or just the one that hoppe gets sold by a different retailer) on my Star. I got one of the Klock Werks Flare windshields on it. I just didnt put the two bolts back in.

Gotcha. The fairing came with some fairing pouches. Those require all 5 screws. So I need to find a decent used 6-8" windshield and drill those holes myself.
