Was bored during all of this cold weather and decided that I wanted some simple shelves to keep my helmets on. I have almost no experience working with wood, but I was happy enough with the way they turned out.

Looks good, I'm on my phone, did you make that sprocket art or buy it? Can't tell. Ive got about a half dozen sprockets I wanted to do something similar with.US Politics in three words - Divide and Conquer -
I bought it at Garden Ridge in Lewisville for like $30.
I've got a bunch of old chains/sprockets that I wanna make something out of too. I remember Rick from PimpIt made a coat rack by hanging a couple of front sprockets from the ceiling (just using hooks, as I recall) and then dangled rear sprockets from chains. He put a dowel through the middle of the rear sprockets, and viola, coat rack.
I got some hardcore industrial degreaser and am gonna soak the chains/sprockets and then figure something out.
