  • What do y'all pay for insurance?

I got a few quotes online, for full coverage for a 2014 ZX6r,
I'm 37, nothing negative on my record, just wanted to see what y'all are paying and Through what company?

I've put it off for far too long but, I have an MSF class booked for next month, and want a bike by no later than October, and since the bike is new and being financed, I have to carry full coverage.

Geico and Progressive, and I was like WTF!!!

try state farm for full coverage. when i had to have f/c i used them over progressive. that being said right now i have progressive.... liability with "acts of god" added (theft, knocked over by natural causes, etc etc) on a 2000 sv650 for $77 for the year.

2009 Yamaha Raider...........$150.00 year full coverage-Progressive. I have got to be reading something wrong. No way a motorcycle would be $3k a year

You need to make sure you add the uninsured motorist coverage and probably PIP. My Buell was about $600 a year through Geico, with Allstate it was $1500 for the same coverage. Your numbers aren't far off from what I was quoted for an R-1 or GSXR1000.

Don't get a new bike, just gonna get wrecked or stolen. Go cheaper.

$75/yr full coverage but for a CRF50 right now.

My 05 gsxr 750 was $38/mo for liability and comp.

I'm going to shop around some more but, if I can't find anything cheap, I'm just going to buy my buddy's 08 CBR600rr he said he'll sell it to me for $3k bike is in good condition. He had a kid and the old lady doesn't want him riding.

I'll take the bike if you dont.

i agree with above, dont go get something brand new, as your mistakes on it will be exponentially more expensive than on a used bike.

Around $300 yearly for my 2008 Speed Triple for comp and liability.

If you buy a new bike you are an idiot.

State Farm has the best prices by far for full coverage on sportbikes! My R1 has $9000 agreed value coverage on it and it's only $85 a month. Cruisers are a different story, there are lots of companies that will insure cruisers for next to nothing.
