        They have already been riding just not their own bike, I know they will outgrow it soon but that is the way it works with kids. Also why I want something with good resale.

                I started on a kx60 soo much quicker then above mentioned. Two strokes rock, and it took me a while to get tired of it, especially compared to friends that rode ttr90's and honda 80's.

                    Yeah, I wouldn't shy away from 2 strokes. My son is 5 and racing (1st year), pw50. Weird gearing, high top speed, but a dog out of corners.
