2011 HD FXDWG Front End "Clunk"

Okay this is driving me crazy. My 2011 Dyna has 16,000 miles and it just started making a clunking noise from the front end when going over bumps. It is coming through the triple trees and I can't find the point of origin.


Anybody have any ideas or experience with this?

Calipers are tight, and no leaks in the forks.

x2, it's part of that routine maintenance that people tend to forget about. Get it fixed ASAP!

No different than any other motorcycle, just they are not water cooled. Well except the VRod.

Figured it out. Front mounting bolt for the gas tank was a little loose. Was driving me frigging crazy. Glad I figured it out before I tore apart the whole front end.
