I have never received a title for a used bike and have never had any issues. Just ask him for the VIN to check it for being stolen before making the trip. If he balks, bail...if he gives it to you...

Kyle already knows, but ended up with an 03 KX65 for $650. Bike is stock, came with a new FMF muffler (need to order the fatty), boots, and a jersey. The pics he sent, made it look like the black platics were faded. Turns out they rattle canned the factory greens. Going to try stripping it, but will likely have to order new plastics. Need to find some graphics and bars as well. Other than the plastic situation it's a damn nice bike. No leaks, seems to had been well maintained, etc.
