another bike title question

i have friend who was killed when he was hit by a truck on his street bike awhile back. he also had a dirt bike that was financed. his wife is wanting to sell the dirt bike. the dealer does not want it back and the CC company has a lien on it. what are her options? i know people buy and sell DBs all the time with no title, but she does not want to get in trouble. i am not sure if the line of credit was in both of their names, or just her husbands. i will find that part out. i think she would be ok to just sell it. just tell the buyer the truth about why there no title.

Is it worth what is owed on it? I would think that she could pay it off with what it sells for and get a clear title that way.
