buying an out of state bike....

what can i expect for title transfer in the state of texas....never bought anything out side of the state to bring back.

any info will help.

I bought a RC51 from San Diego a few years back. I didn't have to do anything special. There was a title transer form in CA that the seller had to complete and sign, I got a bill of sale, and that's about it. I'm sure the process varies slightly from state to state.

State inspection. Bring the forms with you to title office.

Everything is normal but you need to get it inspected (with proof of insurance like normal) and when you get it inspected you need to ask for what used to be called a green sheet from the inspector. I can't remember what they call em now but I can tell you when I get home, I have it written down.
