  • Sprockets

Well it is time for a new chain and I am curious about changing out my sprockets to something a little more fun. I have a 06 zx6r, im asking about personal expierence with milage and torque. So far my best milage has been 42mpg, will I reduce this significantly using the -1 +2 sprocket setup? What is the full on stunting sprockets for a 636? An easy 2nd gear wheelie would be nice maybe even a 3rd gear wheelie occasionaly.

    Thanks,

        Your stock gearing is 15/43.

I would recommend going -1/+3 for more fun all around.

The kit, plus chain would run $175.

Patrick on the board here could probably get you a better deal, but for this I like ordering through motomummy. You can add a SpeedoDRD for $65 to your order to correct your speedo.

if you want to go -1 +2 just go +5 in the back and leave the counter sprocket stock..

            -1 +2 enough to pull 3rd gear wheelies on a 600? (or +5)

Clutch or power? Clutch yes, power, don't do'em.

Thanks, I picked this up yesterday. 175.00 is a pretty good price considering it comes with an Xring chain.

I did -2 +3 on my R6, and it really woke up around town. Killed the top-speed though, and raised the RPM at highway speeds a bit.

Man I am disappointed. There is no replacement for displacement.

I was trying to gear my 600 into a 1k; can't be done.

                        Sprockets for sale!!

I suggest you call these guys. I hear they are the best when it comes to sprockets.

I will admit the bike stays in that 'omg that sounds good range', I just cannot drive like it wants where I live. Or I need stock exhaust.
