True, but keep in mind, they would be easily removed once you are done with them. I know you're a bit anal about stuff though.

haha, yeah. To elaborate a little - i want to completely redo the inside when/if I do all of that...make it adjustable..etc..etc. The interior wood is a little flimsy.

Turns out it is a v-star. Just strapped the front and back into a 5x9 trailer, no problems other than moving it around to get it on/off trailer.

Going to get it checked out and put it up for sale. THanks for the help though.

To go a long with this - does anyone know of a place in Mckinney/Van Alstyne/Sherman/Frisco..etc that'll sell this thing on consignment? It's been in my garage and I need a new battery thrown in and sold.

            Thank you.

Walmart on the battery...thats about as cheap as you will find. Cant help you on the consignment deal...but really is Craigslist too difficult for you? Beyond that.....do you have legal rights to sell (title in your name or signed by owner for such purpose)?

Two things that make it way better no matter if you have a trailer or a truck bed... Once you get it in there you need to park it on a good wheel chalk, like a Baxley ( I could loan you mine with a deposit, they are about $250 but solid as a rock) and a strap system like a Canyon Dancer or the like... I have one of those too if you need it and can show you how it works. Once you load the bike with the front wheel on the chalk, put the straps on the harness that slips over the grips and tie it down securely, it ain't going anywhere you don't make it go.

We have power of attorney and so forth to be able to do whatever is necessary.

CL is what I'd do but I run into several problems.

                  1. No time

                  2. Living out a little further, people no showing is a bigger deal

                  3. Have no clue on value (i.e. owner feels it's work value A, where it seems like it is worth quite a bit less)

                  4. If grilled on it, I have 0 idea how to answer 90% of the questions in regards to a motorcycle.

                  5. People would have to come to house, since I can't/not licensed to ride it to meet somewhere. Don't really like CL'er...etc coming to home.

Those are the MAIN reasons I'd rather just get it off to consignment if at all possible.
