  • R.I.P. - Blue Suzuki

Just made an MVA on N. Beach street, motorcycle vs truck. This was just north of Meacham Blvd. According to witnesses the moto was hauling butt northbound and when he came over the crest in the road, a truck was pulling onto N. Beach. They say he tried to lay it down.

Bright or "candy" blue Suzuki super sport/sport touring (didn't even think to look at the bars). The only bodywork left on it was the tank and parts of the tail. The color reminded me of the old Kawi color that came out around 2005-ish. It was most likely an SV.

I'm pretty sure the guy was hispanic.

There was a helmet off to the side of the scene, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't wearing it. It was very bright, mostly yellow with some orange. I don't really remember what the design was, but maybe some kind of a face or something. It definitely wasn't a plain KBC style or anything. I've searched online, but don't see the design.

That's probably all I can say, but it wasn't pretty at all.

*none of this is factual, any similarity to a real life incident is purely coincidental*

Eh. We just have an exceptionally high number of fatalities because of the huge stretches of I-35 and 820 that is our "first on" territory. Most stations aren't this bad. This wasn't on the freeway, though, and could happen anywhere.

*hypothetically, if the story were true*

Just went back to clean up the scene. He was wearing his helmet, he did lay it down. It was a supersport.

We did cover him up. For some reason, Haltom City got the call (Beach is the boundary for our territories) so when we got there the HCFD paramedics were already "calling it." We got a sheet and covered him up.

You almost puked? (*edited out info)

            *Hypothetically, of course.
