ok maybe some one can help me with this, i have a 2009 harley Rocker. they come from the factory with multi function( running light, signal, brake ) LED tail lights. on the right side only the running light works. this is a sealed unit and has no replaceable parts according to harley, you have to buy the whole assembly at the low cost of $220.00 each. my question is can i switch over to a multi fuction bulb style tail light or do i need to stick with the LED's. my current lights have four wires i have found a aftermarket made by drag specialties that has two wires and grounds on the bolt you think these would work. TIA

I would NEVER pay what Harley wants for any accessories. I'm quite sure you could spend an hour surfing various internet stores and come up with MUCH better quality aftermarket LED lights for 1/10th the cost of Harley's price and install them yourself. I WOULD stick with LED's because they have almost no current draw on the electrical system and generally speaking SHOULD last 90x longer vs. standard incandescent bulbs.

I used to know of several places online but can't remember them. Cycle Gear carries a few. Bates in Carrolton had a fair selection last time I was up there. Try wording your searches several different ways online.....motorcycle LEDS, Bike LEDS, automotive LED's, etc. Might even suggest Ebay although sometimes the quality of the stuff is questionable and a vast majority of it is Chinese made (low prices....but slow shipping).
