Thinking I want to pick up a sport bike.

New kind of riding, new(ish) machine to ride on. I'm thinking something in the 750 cc range, maybe a Suzuki GSXR.

You sport bikers on here, what would you recommend? I like to do moderate to long distance rides, as well as just go screw around for an hour or two locally.

Lol, I realize that. I just want to see the answers that come in. I fully am going to hit up a few dealerships.

i'm riding a bandit 1200...very comfortable, but it's not a super sport. any ss bike isn't going to be too comfortable to ride long distances...ditch the clip-ons, get some renthals with 1in risers and a different seat and you'll love life a little more. comfort & capability

Cbr1000rr here. It fits my fat ass better than the rest. I agree with dsrtuckteezy. Go to a used bike dealer and figure out which one won't kill you to be on more than 20 minutes. That being said Honda gets my vote!
