Lame. If it were that effective, it would be a live demo and not an animation. Even the animation was weak... big deal it inflated before he hit the ground, what would have happened if the rider hit the van directly?

They have vests with airbags that inflate to keep your body from impacting the ground. I believe they're going to be trying them in MotoGP soon, if they haven't already begun testing.

If it were lightweight and not bulky, I could see wearing one during certain rides.
