Zipper repair

Last couple of years the main zipper on my alpinestars jacket has had sone issues. Looked at it a bit closer and noticed that the plastic teeth within the first cm are damaged and pulling away. i love the jacket and dont want to trash it, so i'm thinking i just need to have someone replace the entire zipper assembly.

Is there anyone thats done this before? Who did you use?

I would think that any tailor should be able to replace it. In my experience, Asian tailors are the best.

I sent an email to Alpinestars to see if they had a repair option.

All the tailors near me are greek. Only asains around own the donut shops

Greek? They'll probably just spray some windex on there and say it's fixed
