  • Watercraft!

Anyone have experience with the Seadoo RXT/RXP's? Are the prices listed on Nada or KBB accurate when it comes to watercraft?

I know I made a thread like this a few years ago but never got around to buying one. I am planning in advance this time and want to start looking.

I am looking for a jetski around $4,000. There are a super good deals out there where I can make a few bucks when I want to sell it I wouldn't mind upping that to $5,000-$6,000.

Id like for something like this: http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/boa/2819429237.html

However, seeing how this is my first watercraft I don't want to take that big of a gamble. I know shit that floats can cause havoc later down the road....

There was a few year models of those that had a big problem locking up the supercharger bearings. It was a costly repair if not done before is blew up. Goolge to find out year models effected.

Correct, If your looking at a RXP plan on another grand for s S/C upgrade. Personally, if I were looking for a watercraft in your price range I would look at something from Yamaha or Kawasaki. The RXP's are super fast on flat water. The trick to beating one is to have a M & M in your pocket and toss that in the water to make a wave. They cannot handle rough water. If you think I am lying look at the race results for the past 5 years or so. The Kawasaki Ultras are killing the rest because they can move in rough water. Go see a watercrarft race, the water is no kind of smooth. Its Supercross in water
