Because I wanted it done yesterday, and being that I had to work, and work right around the corner I could drop it off real quick and get back to work. I'll be taking it to Scott soon to get a tune.

Why not? The tensile strength is just as good as a 530. But i went back with a 530 since indysuperbike fucked up my order.

Oh, and to actually answer your question, to shed a couple of pounds of rotating weight.

520 is plenty for most riders. I run a 520 on my R1 and I am not easy on it at all.

So dumb question time, What happened to Cycle Werkz? They go under or something? When I use to live over in FW I would have Cycle Werkz do my tires and they also did the jet kit on my V Star.

They moved to 30 and Las Vegas Trail. I still may use them occasionally, but its easier for me to use A&R now since i work down the street from them, and live just north. So dropping it off and finding a ride back to where ever is a ton easier.

Ok, that'll certainly make a difference. Distance is the reason I don't use them anymore.

I will have to check you out. I have been using Yamaha Suzuki of Ft Worth with good luck. Did not know about A&R. I am also in Watauga.

As soon as i can save up for a good rear shock, then some decent forks i'll have y'all swap them out. I need to get my clutch and rear brake line done too.
