I don't think that's HP on the left side of the graph, I have no idea what Potenza CV is, some f'ed up European measurement.

Do you know what they call the 1/4 pounder with cheese in France?

Only thing i know about france is that if it were 10,000 ft below sea level, that kawi still wouldnt make 200hp in paris

Bmw/kawi, doesnt make a shit, they will both be chasing something that starts with S and ends with I, lol
In their defense I think they were talking about the crank hp with "simulated" ram-air.

What it really does at the wheel, time will tell.

          In the mean time, I want this;

Aaron Yates Superstock Champion Jordan Suzuki GSX-R 1000

          Asking 12k.

yet again........ram air, if you've ever held a glass under a faucet until it gets full, the pressure of the water doesn't blow the glass apart.......it runs over the side with the water inside becoming stagnant. air does the same, i forget the number, but it is scientifically impossible to get air to compress under it's own weight and create more than say a 1/2" of water pressure on a manometer.......leading to jack shit for power increases. bla bla bla, i made 3 pounds of boost with my ram air system, bullshit you did.

              Possible engine problem???

Any of you work at a Kawi dealer?
I asked my guy about this today and he has heard nothing about it and that's his best seller. He said he did not even think any one had any yet unless they were sold in California. He did have a Voyager they were sending back for a recall though.

                Wait...what?

Your guy is slow, I'm bad ass, don't ever forget

The rumor I was talking about 5 days ago has been confirmed. Yes, many have reached customers all over, including Texas.

FWIW - I'm also hearing they aren't out dynoing the BMW, but we should wait until after the buyback/stop-sale/recall/whateverthefuckyouwanttocallit.

At least one here in TX has done really really poorly on the dyno. I'll post graphs if/when I get them.

The problem has been identified and solved, and sales will be resuming soon.

                      ZX-10R's Problems Solved

                      Kawasaki To Resume Selling Soon

                      By: Paul Carruthers

The "sales hold" on the ZX-10R will be lifted at the end of January with sales to resume as normal, Kawasaki announced today in a press release.

According to Kawasaki engineers, the problem with the ZX-10R arose when they found a "possible surging of the intake valve spring when the unit is operated under unique riding conditions, such as on a racetrack. The surge could cause the intake valve to seat improperly, resulting in poor engine performance."

Kawasaki is replacing the camshaft, valve springs, and spring retainers to prevent the valve surging - and none of the changes affect engine performance, Kawasaki says.

On December 11, Kawasaki issued a release stating that a "technical hold" was being placed on the bike, but gave no details as to what the problem was. At that point, unsold units were sent back to KMC warehouses and those who had already taken delivery of the new bike were told to return them to dealerships for a full refund.
