Yup, here's the official notification from Kawi. Lots of rumors, but nothing concrete on what the issue is, other than something engine related.

In '08 kawi claimed north of 180 on hp for the zx 10, they averaged under 160.......

So if they make 180 stock, ill be shocked

Did you see the dyno numbers at the top of the thread? I'm not convinced it's a power issue, it makes more power than the BMW.

My point is only that the 10R will make more power than the BMW, I'm not arguing that they are making what they are claiming. It's all speculation.
