    So I have a buddy that has 2 of these, any one built one? I'm talking at most like 250cc...

    no reason a 250c has to be a mini anything. Drop it into a frame like a yamaha xs650 frame, weld a hardtail on it, and ride it liker a full chopper. Any bike that will easily do 100mph+, i damn sure wouldnt consider a mini. Turn it into a nice full-on chopper and ride it like you stole it.

      i had a hard tailed xs650... stretched, etc. was kinda fun for a month till the cool factor of the hard tail had gone out the window....

        Yeah if I get into building one, it will have some kind of suspension. I guess my main questions is what does it cost to make something like this street legal and what are the steps that need to be taken?

          they only thing that was stock on my bike was the neck where the vin was stamped... so it was titled as a 81 yama.

            I just like that rat rod look on bikes, drags bars are gonna be a must, and white wall tires. It's exciting thinking about it.

              if it has turn signals, they gotta work. put a liscense plate on it, a horn, and a liscense plate/stop light tail light and you are good to go. just liscense it as whatever the motor is. nothing else. slap a hardtail on it with a spring suspension seat and you are cool. my chopper had no suspension but the seat springs and it was just fine. if you are not pissing blood, then you are doing wrong.
