  • Cafe Racer style bikes?

So I've been contemplating selling my GSXR1000 for a while now. I have to fix some of the damaged parts on it and then sell it, but trying to figure out what I want instead. I have no time or money for trackdays since guns and my Jeep take up most of that. I just want something cool and unique to ride around and not some insane 160mph sportbike that I'll never use even half of its potential.

I was looking at bikes like the Triumph Thruxton but really didn't see any other options out there. Is there anything I'm missing? Any other manufacturers making other cafe style racers?

Ducati, IMO the best looking "cafe racer" that you can buy in a factory form. the Paul Smart edition is fucking SWEET.

the 1000sport will be alot easier and cheaper to find then a paul smart edition, and they're pretty snazzy too.

another option is the moto guzzi v7racer, they have a pretty sweet looking cafe bike and the motor is very strange.. its a weird feeling having the bike rock side to side, but nice bikes too.

the Duc has it beat in just about every aspect though lol but they dont make that bike anymore so you'd have to find one used.

btw if you get a cafe racer, you have to ride down the highway with your left hand on the fork in full race mode

                otherwise you're just a poser.

There's a lot more out there in the custom bike than cafe racers, and they look and function a lot better.

Just keep in mind that everything posted here so far has less than half the power of that GSXR and they all weigh more. It's a big difference going from a liter bike to a cafe style. Those Triumphs are doing good to make 60 hp. I'm not knocking them, they are cool bikes. Dirt cheap, good looks, rock solid reliability and great fuel economy but they are slow and not really all that comfortable.
