I'm headed out to ride supermotos with my buddy Bobby right now. I'm on my drz and he's on his '06 KX450F. I'm gonna ride his some, which will likely leave me disenchanted with my DRZ, but oh well.

After some research, I'm seeing that these bikes have a range of about 20-40 miles on the stock tank (LOL!!!) So I'm thinking about buying a clark 3.9 gallon tank and an Acerbis 1.3 gallon Aux tank. Should also help with keeping the front end down a little better while giving me an useable range of around 80-100 miles (hopefully). Now to find the best deals on those. I've made up my mind on black wheels/black spokes/black hubs on the warp 9s, they should arrive in 2 weeks. Tires are gonna be the shinko 705's as i mentioned before. Should come together pretty fast once i get everything ordered.

3.9 gallons should be enough dude , I have 1.75 gallons and I get 75 miles. of course it's not two stroke and it's FI, but i think your range estimation is still off for sure.
3.9 gallons will get you 100 miles or more for sure on the street.
