Back on two wheels

After a five year hiatus, I picked this beauty up in College Station today. I haven't ridden a street bike since 2006, and I rode this one 220 miles today. That age old adage is true; like riding a bike.





Yamaha 50th anniversary R6 with 10k miles. I'm liking it so far. I've only owned a couple of Suzukis so this will be a change. This thing is light as hell and very easy to ride. I hit some rain in Ennis but had zero issues. Although my hands and thighs feel pretty numb right now, this thing is not a good traveler lol. I can't wait for the next nice day to really enjoy it.

Yeah I think it's kinda dinky as well. I need to look into an upgrade, along with a few others, like a rear cowl that allows me to stow more than a roll of quarters. I'm making a list for Santa Clause.
