Pic from the front where it looks like his head is between Vale's front wheel and lower radiator cowl as he was being run over.

Yeah. I'm now sure that's what did it. I feel sorry for Vale. Accident or not I know I'd feel horrible for a long, long time.

Looking closer at the video it would appear the strap broke from the helmet.

              Your info is incorrect.

Confirmed via a text from Colin Edwards and Paolo Simoncelli has stated:
"Paolo arrived at the scene of the crash as Marco was being lifted onto a stretcher and carried to the ambulance. He says he had called to his son, but Marco was already dead."

Yeah, not really proof right there. I have seen many a person laid out thought to be dead and they were not.

Y'all are really going to argue about that?

Nothing to argue. Colin Edwards was closer than anyone and his text confirms Paolo's comments. I take the word of those that were there.

Lying motionless isn't completely indicative that he's dead. Unless they checked vitals, they don't know that he wasn't just unconsious at that point.

So we're arguing official medical time of death as called by doctors is incorrect, but a professional motorcycle racer is the correct authority to refer to? CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT!

One of my favorite riders. Really liked it when he was giving the top guys fits. I'll really miss watching him race.
