My RC has full coverage and its only $1100 for the year. I thought that was a great price too. I have my coverage with Dairyland btw. My last wreck was 06 (knock on wood) and when I'm not riding the bike stays locked in the garage. I'm sure these two things helped immensely with my premium plus I'm 27. On the other hand, there aren't a ton of RC51s running around so maybe that's why they have the rates so low.

Insurance for a Ducati with basically twice the displacement and value of my 600RR cost half as much, go figure. Squids buy jap 600s, the more "adult" bikes aren't totaled as often.

The big things that bring rates down are being 25+, owning a home, and being married, but an insurance agent would know better than me.
