  • 2002 Aprilia RSV Milli with 38k

Guy wants to give me 3k and a crispy clean Milli for my Bronco and I am a sucker for twins. My only hang up is the bike has 38K on it. You boys think that would be an issue? He said he has kept it fully serviced and has all the records on it. I think it would look good with the ole twin pipes. Anyone have any time with these?

if it's been kept up and runs tight, i wouldnt be concerned with the miles...though i cant personally comment on the reliability of the rsv.

im at 40k+ on a bike that earns its keep..

v-twins blow but 38K seems like a lot just because people don't ride so relative to other bikes it's a lot. I wouldn't care.

V-Twins rock sir. You do realize there is becoming a little cult following around here for them. I have had my fair share of ballistic missle litter bikes and twins just no time with anything italian other then my buddies Aprilia scooter. To me just for day to day riding and screwing around they are fun to ride. Plus they sound nice bad ass.

Mine had 37k on it and it was fresh as the day it rolled off the lot. Check out af1 racing's forum, best info on the net and best parts place in north america(they are based out of San Antonio) Is it a Mille R? I had a 2000.5 mille R and it had $2500 oz wheels and full ohlins susp and a lot of carbon fiber, stock. These bikes will routinely sun 60-75K and I know of pure race bikes running over 40k, on the original motors.
I owned mine for 2years and sold it on this board, rode it almost everyday to and from work with no issues.

          Badass bike BTW.

I had that guy offer me the bike to trade for my mustang when I had it listed but I wasn't looking to put up extra cash. I picked up a Ducati Monster instead.

I passed on the deal. The bike looks super clean but when I made the offer to him I thought it had way less miles. Maybe with some more cash on his end but I dint want to ask that and sound flakey. People should really put the miles in their adds. I should have known when they were missing out of it they were high. I figured maybe 15k or so but not 40k. LOL

I know when the guy msg'd me he seemed really eager almost to a odd amount to get the deal done.

I think I just low balled myself before knowing the mileage, I could have sworn it had 12k but I imagined that I guess. I am not really afraid of the bike I just know how much money I have dumped into the Bronco and what its is going to cost to build my Barbie dream Jeep. LOL I want a low slung TJ,YJ,LJ, whatever with 37's and D44's front and rear. or something to that affect.

I may hit him up for a little more cash and look at it though. If it is solid it would look pretty sweet with twin cans on it.

Crappy quality picture from the previous owner but I haven't had time to take my own.
