  • Suzuki Z400 quad-- good price?

Brand New at dealer in Oklahoma (no tax)
    2009 Model
    Suzuki Z400

Advertised at $5,480 OUT THE DOOR (so I am assuming it would be less for a TX resident since we would not pay them the tax)

Suzuki.com has a $300 coupon on all quads 2011 and older that are new. Not sure if they would accept that off the already reduced price or not.

I wouldn't recommend buying new, you will crash it and you won't use it as much as you think you will. Other than fuel injection there isn't much difference between that quad and the $2k ones on Craigslist all the time.

Or if you are set on new you can probably get a new Raptor 700 for $1000 more. Sport quads are 100% luxury items and they aren't selling at all, there are plenty of deals out there.

I see what you are saying. As far as riding.. I am on one of our quads atleast 4 days out of everyweek. Whether or not I NEED another...that is a different story.

I'd imagine the big 4wd utility quads like Grizzlies and King Quads are still doing okay. Ranchers have to buy them and hunters use them, who usually still have discretionary income. The US Government and it's agencies buy tons of 4wd quads every year as well.
