Back on two wheels

It's been too damn long! roughly 4 years since i had my 04 R1. Went with the v-twin so maybe i won't get in so much trouble with this one. always wanted one of these. I need a louder exhaust though, these Mori's are too conservative.

speaking of that... i made a run the other day on our "epic group ride". we stopped at indian bridge. since there was low wind and no traffic for miles, i ran 155 mph. the bike still had plenty left, but i ran out of balls lol.

If I was a guessing man I would say my slightly modded TL1000R would turn around 174 on gps. Guessing that is. I had a ZX11 turbo back in the day that would eat it for lunch but thats another story. LOL

I don't mind it. As long as I'm moving around its fine. On the highway, my right hand goes numb from holding the throttle. I've tried holding it different ways, but I'm getting to fat these days. I put a throttlemeister on there so it should help for those long runs on the highway.

That Mori exhaust is a piece of art! I cut my cans down when I had my RC, it made a huge difference in sound. Nice bike, I really miss mine.

So how hard was it to cut them down and drill out the stainless steel rivets? I like the way that looks, and I bet I'll love the sound too. I need to get a pc3 for it too.
