It may have been more gutless than usual because I geared it up to cruise on the highway. Do not by one unless you love to work on it all the time. The clutch cable pulled through the soda can quality aluminum side cover, vibrated everything loose. If you double nut and red locktite the bolts you will crack the parts. Do not adjust the valves so be quiet or you will burn the exhaust valve. IT wont speed up or slow down to get out of its own way so be prepared to kick some doors of merging traffic. The head lamp was an a/c voltage bulb that took forever to get, the alternator didnt quite make enough juice to push a standard glass bulb when added the brake lamp load. Performance parts are fucking sky high. Oh yeah all the fasteners were Witworth standard (I was lucky enough to have a wrench)
An English fellow I work with that used to run a bike shop over there said they were shit back in the day too.
