  • 12k service interval

Just called the Ducati dealer in Dallas for a quote for the 12k service and got quoted $1,100. This includes parts and labor @ 7 hours labor. Anyone know of a place that may be a little easier on the wallet?

And after another call I got directed to Northside Cycles in Corinth. His price is $700 for parts and labor. Whoa, that's a big difference!

Buy or get a manual online. I dont think that it is that much work, if I can remember right the hard part is the belts.

I would prefer someone else doing the work on this one. Just cheap insurance really. I don't have any service records from the previous owner and I'm almost at 9k, figure I'll have it serviced, replace the chain, replace the levers, and possibly new tires.

You own a Duc, under 2k dollars is cheap IMO....
