White people are paint their bikes a certain color? Maybe a flat white, but black folk paint their bikes white that have pearl mixed in?

I don't know what you want to call it, but every pearl white bike I've seen, including an R1 30 feet away from me right now, is owned by the same type of guy.

The type that only listens to the latest rap and has huge wheels on a Chrysler 300 or full size SUV.

It's not just a "black" thing.

R1 is a Hispanic kid's, but he's got a base 300 with 24's or 26's.

Know a white dope dealer kid with a pearl white GSXR too.

It's not race so much as lifestyle. Oversized T-shirts, oversized chrome wheels, rap music, tattoos, stripper girlfriends, and often a fair amount of cash with no visible means of support.

Doesn't matter to me what color you are, everyone's money is green!

Next time i'll paint it racist red.

I'm no expert, but in my 12 years of experience a stock bike appeals to a much wider audience than a modded one, especially a fully repainted bike. That's a resale killer IMO. Good luck with the sale!

I dig white bikes too, his looks good in the pics, but if it's pearl in person I wouldn't be a fan.

All the guys I see that get it done always call it "Pearl Escalade White" no matter the paint code.

White Pearl has an off-white appearance with a "sheen" to it. For me it has a dated appearance reminiscent of the late 80's -mid 90's. I think of my grandparents generation in Cadillacs with gold trim and vinyl roofs. It just doesn't look very clean when mated to the cutting edge styling of a modern sportbike.

Don't take it personally man, if you like it that's all that matters.

I've got an idea in my head for my next bike, who knows if I'll ever do it, but most people will probably think it looks ridiculous, but I won't care. It will be my bike to make me happy, not random strangers, couldn't care less what they would think.

the only white bike i know recently that has metallic pearl in it is the triumph 675 SE. i was in LOVE with this bike until i saw one in person. the blue color of the frame looks crappy in real life.

While I'm overly optimistic, given my current financial state, I'll probably won't build what I'm thinking about anytime soon, but I can't quite decide what I would do with the frame/swingarm/wheels in my head.

I like the rime stripes with the blue frame/arm, but the color I want to do looks like anti-freeze. I think it would be cool for the entire wheels to be coated in that color, but it would be overkill to do the frame/swing arm, but I don't want to just leave them black. However, just doing the wheel lip in that color just wouldn't be enough awesomeness for me! LOL.

well, if your budget is "fuck it" i would be looking at ducati 1098 or better, RSV4, beemer, and the ktm rc8 is pretty killer too.
