If you lose interest in the project some day, please let me know, may be interested in building for myself.
I had a '71 h1 (500) triple, and two '72 h1's. They were very quick straight line bikes.
The Fort worth Kawasaki dealer at the time was Caldwell Kawasaki, and the owners son, Rory Caldwell, was a friend of mine.
He brought one of the first h2's home one day, asked if I wanted to take it for a ride, and I willingly obliged.
I had been riding the h1 for a year, was used to power band hitting @ 6,000 rpm, and all hell breaks loose.
Well as soon as you crank the h2 back, there is no waiting for power band, it is ALL THERE / RIGHT NOW !!!
Only motorcycle that ever scared me, I will personally attest they were FUCKING ANIMALS. I loved them.
P.S. the 750 suzuki wasn't even in the same class, not even an honorable mention
