I actually sent a message to that seller yesterday on the exhaust, just waiting for a response that it will fit with no issues and I'm ready to order it. I checked out the signals in the link but actually I kinda like the stock orange housing.

I pick the bike up in a few days and then I'll know just how bad the rear signal will be to fix. Its covered in electrical tape so I'm thinking I might be better off picking up a brake/turn signal combo.

Looks like I'm limited to stock parts from a 2000-2001 M750. I looks like I only need the cans though. Any cheap decent sounding cans that are local? I'm picking this bike up tomorrow morning and would like to get it on the road asap.

D&D sound and look like shit on a Ducati. Termigoni, Leo Vince or Zard all look and sound great. Get bar end mirrors and plug the stock holes. Also if you get the tail light for a buel Blast with integrated blinkers you can use whatever little cheap led blinkers up front to matchit. The reason to use the rear from a Buell blast is it has an integrated plate light - the ones for the monster do not. If you want to do the tail chop then you need the one with the plate light.

It fits perfect - bolts and plugs right up.

Picked it up today. Guy said that its been sitting since February. Said the clutch lever is not right and that the clutch fluid was empty. They filled it back up but it didn't get any better. Says it wants to go forward unless you have the lever pulled all the way in and that it would be best to have it looked at.

Buddy took a look at it and it was jury rigged in a big way on a few things, and since I'm getting it inspected for a rebuild title I need to go with OE parts. He said the inspectors can be pretty particular. So I need a replacement exhaust, left side rear signal, right side front signal, clutch and brake levers, mirror/s. And possibly handlebar since its bent a bit on the right side.

Its at a friends place with a battery charger on it. Gonna get some fuel in the tank and see how it does tomorrow. Other then that

I saw this one yesterday and was pretty tempted.

Just not a ducati guy, so I passed. Looks pretty good though, and I bet it's a lot of fun!

Well, I popped my cherry and dropped it. I'm fine and the bike is fine too. It was coming out of a low speed turn, lil too much throttle and the rear slid out on me. Just waiting on my bar end mirrors and possibly a microswitch for the front brake since the brake light stays on like the brakes are engaged at all times.
