Anyone have any experience with these? I may have found a deal on one that has been laid down and pretty hard from what they say.

Bent right handlebar, all turn signals are gone, no mirrors, and the exhaust is gone. So those will have to be addressed at a minimum.

I've wanted one for ages and the price may make it worth it if the repairs arent too costly. I have very little experience in bike repair, any recommendations for this?

All I've been told is that its a solid black bike and has high miles 25k if I remember correctly.

The high miles hurts more than the other parts. Valve adjustments and belt changes are really expensive on those bikes. I had an 01 m750 and really liked it, but it is expensive to maintain them.

Well I pick up the bike next week after the wire transfer clears. Its a total loss sale, so now I have to figure out how to get a slavage title on it after I get the parts replaced. Its a 2000 Monster 750 with a hair over 8k miles. Pretty stoked to finally have my own bike.

Here's a pic. I'll say that I overpaid but its the bike I've wanted for a very very long time.

Duc parts are pretty expensive, but if that's your bike in the pic it won't take much to make it nice.

Forums are the best bet, then ebay, Eurosport can get anything though.

Thanks, I don't have a clue where to start. I've seen a few stock exhausts on ebay. I think I can get away with aftermarket mirror and signals as well. Gonna start making calls tomorrow and hunting down parts.

Here are some more pics of the damage. Anyone care to offer some suggestions on where to pick up some mirrors that will fit, front/rear signals, and possibly a brake light with integrated turn signals??? The bike clearly went down on its right side, but doesn't look too bad at all. Just wish the stock exhaust was still on it.
