took about 30 minutes a side including removal and re-install, using a cordless drill.
simple kit:

(Hopefully nobody on Catalina Island needs their lenses polished)

Pretty sure I've seen the kit at O'Reilly's. There are several different versions, this was the most basic kit.

That's pretty good, I've never seen a store bought or online purchased one that works. Let us know how long that will last. I usually sand the light down and lay some clear on it.
