I'm getting really to re-paint my mustang, so I'm kind of nervous on the outcome. But I have the stuff already

its good if your on a budget and doing a complete repaint. i use to use them about 2yrs ago i switched to sherwin williams but continue to use the matrix factory black pack. best black paint in my opinion.

That company supplies the major American mfgs with the chemicals to make thier own products. They branched off and started making their own product line. Very affordable and durable.
Not bad if your on a budget, as with all automotive refinish products mix to the point and you should have no problems.

I painted my Jeep with Matrix primer/base/clear. The primer didn't build as well as I would have wanted, but it did work. The paint itself was great. It shot fine, looked fine, and was hard as shit (harder than the PPG I sprayed). I usually hit paint with meguiers 105 and then 205, and after I wet sanded it took me two different polishing sessions to get the scratches out with a rotary, which was nice to see, it's really durable. I would say it's as hard as PPG 2002 clear, maybe even harder.

The front fenders, grill, windshield frame, and hood are Matrix in this picture.

I ended up going with Bright regatta blue. It's getting there, we still need the hood, doors, truck lid and some side moldings. Everything is coming out great except my friend must of not heard me right when I said remove ALL the trims.

I picked up some tail lights off a friend that said they were from a real cobra.
Actually I just bought them because he needed the cash.
