I was curious about that, is it likely I should have to worry?

See I know all this, just not to approiate reaction. Better to play along, or be like I dont think so.

everybody was a worm at one point. the guys above you will take quick note of aptitude and if you show care for equipment/tools/etc.

If you're going to eventually be put charge/control of a rig, frac truck, whatever, they want to know that you'll take care of it. If you're trashing/neglecting $500-5000 tools, they probably won't entrust you with a 5 million dollar tool.
Well my goal is to move up as high as possible, don't want to be a slave forever haha.

So far none of our customers have slowed down, but it is better to be safe than sorry. The drastic decrease has a lot of people I know concerned especially on the drilling side.

Its the oilfield, who knows. I've read analyst that are predicting prices over the next 5 years from $75 to $150. Your guess is as good as mine.

I remember going to an interview with Nabors right out of college summer 2008 and the guy telling me we will never see under $100 oil again, by the end of 2008 it hit $45.

if you have cash and get a good deal on one, buy it... otherwise stack paper till you can. JMO

but if you want to do what most young guys do when they first get in the patch and stretch your credit on a 6yr old truck, I'll gladly sell you a nice 6.4 at full retail! I've got three to choose from at the moment

Haha, option 1 is my plan as long as my current beater holds up. I like to think I'm old enough to know better, but I do know when I get one I'll be hitting you up to get a tuner/ truck if you still have some. I'vwe got the 6.4 bug really bad.

I've got a white '08 Queen Ranch that's in really nice shape. 133k on the truck, leather is in awesome shape. no nav, but has sunroof, etc. Just put a brand new Ford engine in it.

come on down, your payment in full is your credit!

Bastid, that's the truck I'm hunting! Too bad no nav, you'd get paid today if you accepted post-dated, third-party checks.

On a fo reals note, You have any H&S tuners that will work on a 14 Ram?

Been a while since paying attention to diesel toys and have no clue if there's anything available.

When you're on the floor, if something is hanging, you either keep it tied off, or you do not take your hand off of it. Don't put your fingers where you wouldn't put your dick, remember to look up, and watch your feet. If you're drilling with oil base, be prepared for everything, including you, to smell like shit, forever. Do not take anything out to the rig that you don't want possibly destroyed. Take care of your tools, they'll take care of you. ESPECIALLY the tongs. Even if you have a top drive with a TM80 or other form of iron roughneck, the iron roughneck goes down and you're throwing tongs, and on a newer top drive rig the tongs usually suck, as they're hardly used except for BHA. Watch what the more experienced hands do, watch their hand placement, their foot placement, there's a lot of tricks you can pick up by watching what they're doing. Learn how to change the swabs, liners and seats in your mud pumps, not many floorhands and motormen know how to do that.
