I read that as average income of the incoming class.

I understood that to be the incoming class statistics, but I agree if that's out, that's pretty low in that scenario.

      EDIT: Matt wins

            I'm 11% below that number.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?

You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

It would seem to me that you're ahead in that move then. 11% less money, 50% lower CoL. (pulling that number out of thin air)

Not paying the 10% state income tax either.

Back on topic, taking the GMAT again can't hurt you. The scores are good for 5 (?) years and they only take your highest score.

Rice is well respected but so are several state schools. It's amazing how picky the energy industry is getting about degrees...I thinky company is only hiring like 40% or less bachelors candidates in all of the technology organization

I don't really want to do distance. Being in oil & gas and being in Houston I would miss out on invaluable networking by not doing school here also. It's not called the energy capital of the world for nothing.

Ahh I see. I guess being in sales that's pretty huge too

Not sure why but the quantitative section rocked me ... got a 640. Strictly by the numbers the score is "acceptable" (but not to me personally), but the breakdown was certainly lopsided. Since the selection process is very all-encompassing, it would definitely behoove me to submit a (better) more balanced score, right?

BTW, total cost for Professional MBA class of '16 (starting this August) is $95,500
Yeah I remember. It was when you were considering full time school but then received a promotion to drilling manager or something like that. The GMAT can be a real bitch.
