I went through a CC, but was sponsored. I did notice that the self sponsored guys had more of a drive than the sponsored fucks ( myself excluded).

I strongly suggest getting hired first as well. When I went through everything was paid for, even my socks.

My understanding we are testing for 4 positions in patrol. Apps due today by 5pm! Only about a dozen submitted so far.

Tanner, I didn't know you were with RPD, that's my old stomping grounds. Got pulled over enough times in my Black Contour SVT.

I even outran one of you guys once (Old Expedition). Did they ever get you guys faster cars?

I've always wanted to be a cop, but computers don't try to shoot you...

Lol yes. We had vics and 4x4 expeditions. Then the switched to v8 chargers. Those were wicked fast. But within 30k miles, the engines blew and the electronics fail. When I got hired a hear ago, one of the chargers had a rebuilt motor and was decommissioned. Was used for court or off duty only. The other charger also had a new motor but within 3 months, she was decommissioned due to the same electronics issue all chargers had (I was at Colleyville before. We drove v6 chargers. Those dogs and had the worst electronics gremlins too...). The last charger lasted till last month when it was already burning 2qt of oil a week. Then the oil pump failed. She's done. No more pos dodges. We have two vics left and a bunch of new Tahoe's.

We drive the new Taurus interceptors and love them. I have no complaints on them, my last department we had v8 chargers and they were quicker, but just as you said, was falling apart around 38k miles.

We have the Ford Explorers. The AWD is nice. We got in a couple of Taurus' but sent them back because it didn't seem to have a lot of room.

Crazy the Chargers are such pieces of crap. I'm guessing the Tahoes are the vehicle of choice nowadays? Comfortable, plenty of room, reliable, etc.?

I am very interested in trying the ford interceptors... I'm a ford man and it feels wrong driving a chevy! I want a piece of that awd ecoboost drive train. But, I would hate the room difference. When I left my last dept, I was spoiled in FTO while driving a Tahoe. Then when I was released on my own a month later, I was put in a fairly new Vic. I was ecstatic. I missed those cars vs chargers. Then in 2013 I was assigned to a new Tahoe. Will NOT got back to a sedan if I can help it. It is just as fast as a Vic, if not faster.. Higher field of view, roomier (x100000), etc etc. I came find one thing about the chebby I'd change other then its weight, size, and power. The 5.3 serves her well, but I can see the interceptor or caprice blowing my skirt up.

Dude there dodges... I have always been disappointed in dodges unless there Cummins diesel trucks. Even then there not dodges. On the v6 charger I had in my last dept, the transmissions were shit and took a good few seconds in shifting from reverse to drive (doing 3pt turn). Some Mercedes electronic transmissions... Very frustrating when trying to 3pt on a violator and ur stuck for several seconds; stop, reverse, wait..., switch to drive, wait...., and go! In the v8 and v6, I have noticed that there steering columns go to shit quick. Regardless of motor. The v8's brakes were trash as well. They burn up quick and have horrid brake fade. Roanoke ended up upgrading the whole braking system to hipo brake pads and drilled rotors.
