  • Looking For A Job In The Rockwall/Mesquite/Garland/Plano/East Dallas Area

Does anyone know of any job openings in any of the areas listed in the title? I'm looking for a part-time first job. I'm 18 and need to find a job ASAP. I'm going to college in the fall and need the money to help my parents pay for the expenses.

If anyone knows of any jobs available in those areas, please let me know.

for a first job, its not ideal, but check retail, parts stores, clothing stores. Clothing stores are nice because some of them pay minimum wage plus commission. These types of stores are also more flexible when it comes to working around school schedules

Look at home Depot or Lowes. I worked for lowes part time while I was still working as a Firefighter/Medic. They were willing to put up with my 24 on 48 schedule. I imagine they would put up with someones school schedule. Pay wasn't bad for part time, when I left I was at 10.00 hour. I mostly worked there when I bought my house to get the discount.

If thats your Stang in the pic, get a job delivering pizza in a NICE part of town, mid to upper class.

When I was 18, I delivered pizza in a average to below average area and made enough to make my truck payment and get an apartment.
        Vortex rear stand $75
        8.8 410s. $50

You really are stuck with retail or something in the food industry. Most places aren't going to hire someone and train them and then that person leave after a couple months.

Home Depot/Lowes always seem to need someone to help out with getting carts, loading, etc.

I'd say go work for a valet company.

This. Valet on Lower Greenville, and you'll do well. You could also try for a gig at an upscale hotel, if you can be presentable, and polite.

You will have to work every Friday/Saturday night & every holiday with very few exceptions if you go this route. I was a valet 10-12 years ago, and it was the most fun job I've ever had. I'll tell some valet stories sometime at the next GTG if somebody reminds me!

Good luck at 18, very few of the valet services (around here) will let anyone under 21 touch a car.

If you're looking for something for the summer, you're too late; that kind of shit is filled up by the beginning of May 90% of the time.
