    Description
    Dell is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Dallas, TX. We are only able to consider local applicants to the Dallas, TX area at this time.

    Job Responsibilities:
    The Desktop Support Analyst will provide system support for all client workstations. In this role you will investigate and suggest new, or enhancements to, current practices, policies, procedures, or other actions that result in enhanced work-flow, reduced costs, increased productivity, increased employee satisfaction, as well as continual compliance with company requirements.
    • Install and maintain all workstation hardware and client software
    • Educate the user on basic applications with basic training and support as needed
    • Ensure customer satisfaction while providing service and support for all customer service requests
    • Primary desk side, basic network and printer support, including software installation
    Qualifications
    Required Skills:
    • 3+years of overall experience related to Desktop Support
    • 2+ years experience in a medium to large networked computer support environment
    • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Operating Systems ranging from Windows 98 to Windows 7 Professional
    • Strong knowledge of computers and computer software, with emphasis on hospital supported software applications (IE: Office productivity applications, email clients, Citrix clients and various other applications)
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills
    • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds on a consistent basis
    • Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time
    • Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
    • Exceptional customer service orientation skills

    Desired Skills:
    • Experience in a healthcare or business office environment preferred
    • OPAS/Remedy experience highly preferred

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Some college coursework preferred

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
    • Prefer any technical certification (Microsoft, A+, etc.)
